How are your barriers installed?
Rapid deployment is one of our key strengths. A single person can assemble a BLAX V2 3.5T or BLAX V3PL 7.5T barrier in under 5 minutes, without any heavy machinery or ground anchoring. Our modules can be equipped with removable wheels (Roll-Block kit) for effortless positioning.
Are your barriers certified?
Yes, our devices are crash-tested and certified according to international standards IWA 14-1 and PAS 68. Depending on the model chosen, our solutions are capable of stopping a 3.5-tonne vehicle or a 7.5-tonne truck traveling at 50 km/h (approx. 30 mph), with minimal penetration distance
What maintenance is required for this equipment?
Virtually none. Our barriers are made of hot-dip galvanized steel, naturally protecting them against rust and harsh weather, even if stored outdoors year-round. A simple visual check during assembly is enough to ensure everything is in order. It is a strictly “hassle-free” solution for your technical teams.
What about delivery times and logistical options?
As a manufacturer based in Saint-Étienne (France), we manage every step of production. This local presence allows us to guarantee consistent quality and high responsiveness. regarding transport, we offer optimized storage racks (stackable) that allow for transporting tens of meters of protection in a single vehicle.
Do your barriers allow access for pedestrians and emergency services?
Yes, and this is a major factor for crowd management. Unlike concrete blocks that create narrow and anxiety-inducing chicanes, our barriers allow fluid passage for pedestrians, strollers, and people with reduced mobility across the full width of the path. In case of an emergency or evacuation, a module can be unlocked and removed in seconds to let an emergency vehicle through—whereas lifting equipment would be required to move a concrete block.
